This cottage is very popular, as with Villa Quietude it is set in a magnificent location overlooking the sea but within its nature location. You can sit on the balcony seeing the local nature flying, walking or stationary together with overlooking the sea.

The décor and furniture portrays comfort and style. The Cottage has a secluded lawn and a private sun patio in the front, and a secluded walled patio at the back. The sun beds can be moved anywhere you want. The location, setting and overall quality makes it an ideal get-away for those honeymoon couples, romantic couples and elderly couples, who want a peaceful, private, naturalistic quality holiday.

The Cottage was built in the late 60’s and has had two major renovations to bring it up to the present modern day standard. It is stone walled and set within a large olive grove and oleander borders. The Cottage overlooks the Adriatic Sea, but you can see the Diapontian Islands and the hills of mainland Albania.

The Cottage is 155 meters from the sea and close to all amenities yet enjoys complete privacy. A car is not essential but if one is hired it can be parked in the shade at the Cottage entrance.

The Cottage consists of an en-suite bathroom, bedroom, lounge dining room, kitchen and tea alcove. There is a balcony in the front overlooking the sea, lawn and olive trees. A/C is available as an extra but in reality not needed or ever used. The lounge can accommodate an extra person/s if required. To the rear is a walled courtyard with an olive press wheel as a table, chairs and an oak tree. This area is protected, should there be any wind from the north. Sun Loungers are provided that can be used in the front, back, on the lawn, paved or under the olive trees, wherever you want. On the west side is a protected forest of fresh smelling pines.

The Cottage is very popular with most returning each year. There is a vegetable garden where clients can pick their tomatoes, salad, melons etc whatever is available at the time. In keeping with the present day  there is 24/7 internet connection supplied free. A DVD film can be also viewed, if wished, from the comfort of your bed, before going to the land of ‘nod’.

“The Cottage in Agios Stefanos, Corfu, is wholly unique - an oasis of tranquillity and beauty in a beautiful, well-cared-for garden of olive trees and oleanders. From the front veranda, there is a glorious view across the sea to Albania. The long, sandy beach is no distance and Tavernas are plentiful, though I must say that in our ten years of visiting this lovely place, we have frequently eaten "at home", in the beauty of the garden, since all things needed for preparing dinner are available. All I can say is, I hope to have the privilege of visiting this place for the next ten years. A "spot of heaven" is a rarity, and once found, is a gem to be truly appreciated. This is "The Cottage", Agios Stefanos, Corfu. “
